Sermon: The Deceiver Gets Deceived…but wait, there’s more!

Here’s the sermon I preached last Sunday. The scripture is Genesis 29:15-28 NIV, and it’s the story of Jacob being deceived by Laban, but there’s a lot more to it than that! This is the story of a family — Abraham’s family — and of their personal imperfections, failures, and dysfunction. And, yet, it’s also the story of how God chose to use Abraham, then Isaac, and now Jacob in His great plan to redeem the world.
