“We are the Pastors who will to anything”. . .
like uploading a freakish video to YouTube?
Ok… that was brutal to watch. Please tell me this is not an actual church staff!!! I’m tempted to turn my credentials. I may just become an “Emergent Lead Pastor.” At least they know how to dress and look cool! Haha!
Thanks for sharing the video. Not sure what’s wrong with picking someone up for church, and I’ve never seen a pastor who was willing to do chores to get someone in church. Silly gimmicks, unfortunately yes. Manual labor, no.
Umm…did nobody consider this might be satire or sarcastic? That’s the vibe I got from it. Now, granted, the video was lacking in the quality department, and there was NO reason to do 35 verses, but still….these are the jokes, people. 🙂
I consider this a low budget version of “Me Church” which is a hilarious video which broaches the same subject of consumer Christianity.
Getting of my soapbox, now. 🙂
John, yeah, I think you’re right. The satire part I got, but the truth behind it is, well, true. I think this is so bad, it’s good and makes a very good point! Thanks for commenting and keeping us on track!
Thanks for sharing the video. Very funny and thought provoking at the same time. The funny thing is that most of those things they sang about are fine to do(you know we can actually minister to people), but not with the sole motivation of getting people to come to church. I have probably done half or more of the things they sang about in the last year, but I have done them as favors when I can to someone who is in need.
Yeah, kind of like looking in the mirror, isn’t it? Which is what is sad and funny at the same time. I’ve been that desperate, too!
