You can access my sermons each week here on this blog. I recently merged my old sermon blog into this blog, so now everything is in one place.
I usually select my preaching texts from the revised common lectionary, so if you’re a lectionary preacher these will be especially helpful. But whether you follow the lectionary or not, the sermon topics are usually appropriate to the season of the year. You can also access all my blogs at chuckwarnock.com.
Here’s the weekly schedule I try to keep:
- Sermon manuscripts are posted on Friday before the Sunday I preach.
- Sermon podcasts are posted on Monday after.
- Special occasion sermons are posted as they arise, but usually before they are preached.

We used this idea for Easter 2008. It doubled our church attendance for Easter. We average 105, on Easter we had more than 210. Largest crowd ever! The church is still buzzing about it. Not only that, but we have retained several families it seems. The next Sunday the attendance was 125 and the one after that was 151. It seems to have created some momentum. God gets the glory!!! He used this idea to see many come to know Him and add to the church.
I am new to referencing “blog” sites. How do I find the idea to which evangelnorth is referring?
Bonnie,
Enter “Easter outreach idea” in the search box on my blog homepage and it should take you to the idea that “evangelnorth” was referencing. Thanks, Chuck
I too am a pastor of a small church…and I am thankful for your blog…
