Confessions of a Small Church Pastor

Home By Good Friday

When the doctors came around today, I asked them if I could be home by Friday. The head doctor asked, “Why, do you have something you want to do Friday?”

I said, “I’m a pastor and I really want to be at church on Esster.”

Both doctors looked at each other and decided that there was no reason I couldn’t be home by Good Friday, barring any further complications.

So that’s the plan: home in time for
Easter! Keep praying, please.

  2. This is so encouraging. Went to Chatham yesterday to pick up Alex and thought about you both.

  6. That’s good news. I’m sure your church will be filled and everybody glad to see you. If we were in Chatham Easter Sunday I’m sure Emmanuel Church would not miss us because on that Sunday we would be good old Baptists and listening to you preach or at least give you support..
